Mike Allen

Mike is the Director of Security at Mardi Gras Casino & Resort. He joined the Mardi Gras team in 2006 and is responsible for the oversight of security and safety of Mardi Gras Casino & Hotel. Mike is also responsible for the oversight of all investigations and works with local law enforcement to resolve all investigations and the oversight of all key control for the property. Mike comes to Mardi Gras with more than 14 years of experience in the security and gaming industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University and has served as United States Marine Corp Helicopter Mechanic. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, working out and working on classic cars. Mike resides in St. Albans with his family.

Christopher Batog

Christopher is the Director of Surveillance at Mardi Gras Casino & Resort. He joined the Mardi Gras team in 2009 and is responsible for the oversight of minimizing business risk by ensuring compliance with local legislation, internal policies and procedures, and the Minimum Internal Controls, set forth by the West Virginia Lottery. Christopher also oversees the operation, maintenance, and installation of all video and audio monitory and recording devices throughout the property. Christopher came to the Mardi Gras team with more than 17 years in the gaming and surveillance industry, and eight of those years he has been providing service to the Mardi Gras property. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science from Lake Superior State University. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and photography. Christopher resides in Charleston, WV with his wife, Elaine.

Steven Carrier

Steven is the Director of Facilities at Mardi Gras Casino & Resort. He joined the Mardi Gras team in 1995 and is responsible for the oversight of environmental compliance and safety & health code compliance. Steve also is responsible for the oversight of property construction projects including HVAC, carpentry, electrical, plumbing and property upkeep. Steven comes to the Mardi Gras team with more than 23 years in the maintenance and casino industry. Steven holds multiple certifications for his knowledge in electrical and plumbing work. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, riding ATVs, fishing and camping. Steven resides in Charleston, WV with his family.

Philip Pinson

Philip is the Director of Gaming at Mardi Gras Casino & Resort. He joined the Mardi Gras team in 2000 and is responsible for the oversight of all gaming operations including scheduling, staffing, game purchases, configurations and all layout designs. Philip also oversees all communications with the West Virginia Lottery Commission and any special projects that are assigned by Delaware North and the Mardi Gras President & General Manager.

Philip came to Mardi Gras with more than 20 years of experience in the casino gaming industry. Philip holds certifications from the United States Navy in Computer Science and communications. Philip is also enrolled in the Pinnacle II program hosted by Delaware North. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, fishing, doing repair work and being a family man. Philip resides in St. Albans, WV with his family. 

Adam West

Adam is the Director of Mutuels and Racing at Mardi Gras Casino & Resort. He joined the Mardi Gras team in August 1994 in the Security Department before moving on to work in the TV room. After 17 years in the TV room he moved to a supervisor of Mutuels, but when the opportunity presented itself, he moved down to the Racing Department as the Asst. Racing Secretary and eventually moved up to Racing Secretary. In 2021 he was promoted to Director of Mutuels/Racing and is responsible for the oversight of Mutuels and Racing. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, hunting and traveling. Adam resides in the Hurricane area with his wife and 3 boys.

Jeff Copley

Jeff is the Director of Marketing at Mardi Gras Casino and Resort. Jeff joined Delaware North in July 2019 as an Operations Analyst and transitioned to the Marketing Department in 2020. By 2021, Jeff had advanced to the role of Regional Marketing Database Manager, overseeing marketing operations for both Wheeling Island and Mardi Gras.

Before Mardi Gras, Jeff built a strong foundation in customer service and analytics. Starting with DIRECTV in 2007 as a Customer Service Representative and a Team Leader, Jeff then moved to Amazon in 2010, where he progressed from a Customer Service Associate to a Senior Capacity Planning Analyst for Amazon Logistics in 2017. This Customer Service and Analytics experience has equipped Jeff with a comprehensive understanding of customer needs and operational efficiency, which has prepared him for his current role at Mardi Gras. Outside of work, Jeff enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and working on computer software. Jeff resides in Barboursville, WV with his family.

Jessica Glenn

Jessica is the Director of Food and Beverage at Mardi gras Casino and Resort. She joined the Mardi Gras team in 1995 and is responsible for the oversight of all food and beverage operations including four full-service bars, Louie's Lounge, a state-of-the-art sports betting location, The French Quarter Restaurant, Cafe Orleans a quick service dining area, special events and occasional offsite events in the community.

Jessica holds a degree from West Virginia Institue of Technology, Culinary Degree from Carver Career Center and continued her education specializing in baking and pastries from the CIA in Hyde Park, New York.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and close friends. She resides in Winfield WV.

Brenda Casey

Brenda is the Director of Hotel at Mardi Gras Casino & Resort. She joined Delaware North in 2021 in the Parks and Resorts division as a Rooms Manager in Sequoia National Park, CA. She quickly transitioned to the Assistant General Manager there assisting in overseeing the operations of not only the hotel, but retail, housing, and food and beverage. Brenda transitioned to Gaming joining the Mardi Gras team in 2023. She is responsible for the oversight of all Hotel Operations and EVS (Casino Housekeeping).

Brenda came to Mardi Gras with over 10 years of experience in the hotel and gaming industry. She has completed the Pinnacle II program hosted by Delaware North and is a member of the Lodging Leadership Team for Delaware North. Outside of work, Brenda enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as traveling. She resides in St. Albans, WV.
