From Monday to Sunday Mardi Gras Casino & Resort holds the best weekly Poker Tournaments in WV. Win your share of a $60,000 Prize Pool in our exclusive poker tournament on April 29th at 2pm! Mardi Gras Casino & Resort held its first Ice Festival competition on January 28, 2012. This event was a big Charleston, WV attraction. There were nine ice carvers that competed in an ice carving competition and some of them coming from as far away as Ohio and Michigan. The ice carvers competed for cash prizes totaling $2,850.00!

Camouflage Fridays was a big hit at the casino, in September and October when people dressed in camo from head to toe and we rewarded them by giving $10 Casino Cash or $10 Match Play for anyone who participated! The 3rd Annual Monster Bash at Mardi Gras Casino & Resort is one of the most exciting events in the Charleston area. The Monster Bash is all about letting your ghostly spirits run wild. Come join us October 29th from 8 p.m. – midnight. There is no cover charge; it’s free to get in! Plus there is prize money for the best costumes in six different categories. There will be scariest, funniest, and hottest categories where each category will win $250. The best couple costume will win $500. Group theme will win $750, and finally the overall winner will win $1,000!  Registration begins at 8 p.m. and at 11 p.m. there will be a parade of all the contestants and the judges will pick their favorite costumes at 11:30. The rules are simple, no full coverage face paint or masks allowed on the casino floor (although security escorts are available to make your way to the party deck). You must also be at least 21 years old and have a valid ID to enter.
