We offer $5 and $10 bets with a $1000 maximum on the outside inside 100 on the number any way you want to bet it. So if someone bet the number every way possible (a star bet) the maximum payout would be 13,500.

In the game of Roulette, there are 38 numbers (0, 00 & 1-36) printed on the rim of the wheel. Eighteen numbers are in red pockets, eighteen numbers are in black pockets and two are in green pockets. You are betting on the white ball being spun and landing on your color or number of choice.

To bet, place your chips on the table. You will be able to bet or change your bet up to the point that the dealer says, "No more bets." There are two kinds of bets you can make across the layout: inside and outside.

INSIDE BET - A bet within a field of 38 numbers that correspond with numbers on the wheel-0, 00 & 1-36. An inside bet can be straight up (one number), a split (two numbers) or upwards of six numbers.

OUTSIDE BET - A bet that is placed outside the field. You can bet the winning number will be even, odd, black, red and any number 1-18 or 19-36. You may also bet the first twelve, second twelve or third twelve. For example, you can bet on the even, black and first twelve numbers. If the winner is 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10, you will be paid three ways. In addition, you have the options of the first column, second column and third column.

Chips are purchased in "stacks", which are quantities of 20. You must cash in your roulette chips before leaving the table because they are a no value chip and cannot be used or exchanged anywhere else at Mardi Gras Casino WV other than at the table where you purchased them. Each player will play with their own color chips and the dealer will know what color each player has.

Payoffs, Payouts, Odds and More in a Game of Roulette

Payoffs are made on the table with the exception of outside bets.

For example, if you placed two yellow chips on the outside area (1-18-low) and you win, the dealer will place two additional yellow chips beside your bet. Make sure you have collected all chips. Any left on the table when the wheel begins to spin will be considered a bet. Also, check all placement of bets to make sure you are making your intended bet.

Payouts are easy. If the number, column, section or color comes in, you win. If the ball lands on 0 or 00 and you have bet on any of the even-money bets (red, black, odd, even, 1-18, 19-36), you will lose the amount of your bet. See chart below for payout and odds.
